Use PromoClocks to make sure your event is anticipated and remembered.
Any event can be used to promote any event including:
- Tradeshows encourage people to come to your booth.
- Fund raisers encourage people to show up and donate.
- Grand openings encourage people to come and see your products.
- Conventions encourage people to come.
- Seminars encourage people to sign up.
- Banquets, luncheons, and other social events.
- University meetings and special events.
- Student council events.
- Social events and Parties including birthday parties, weddings, showers, etc.
 When you calculate the cost of the event, you will see that the cost of purchasing PromoClock is close to nothing. Even if you are just promoting a small event or party, PromoClock is worth the money because it will turn your ordinary event into an event that everyone will await and remember.
Before the event Using PromoClock as the Event Invitation:
You can use PromoClock as the actual event invitation for a unique twist that your invitees will enjoy. Get people to download your PromoClock by telling them that it is filled with extra special event secrets. (Also let them know that it is a useful tool that they will want and enjoy.)

Sending by postal mail You can either send a standard invitation along with a CD or diskette that contains PromoClock, or just send a website address with instructions of how to download PromoClock. Consider sending only a partial invitation with the words for more details, download our PromoClock.

Sending by email you can make an email invitation much more exciting by sending PromoClock as an attachment or including a web URL to download. Include event details in the email itself or tell people they must download PromoClock in order to find out more. |

Finding out via your website have a page on your website talking about the upcoming event and tell people to download your PromoClock for secret event information.

What to include on your PromoClock before the event
PromoClock allows you to customize your clock in so many ways that you are not lacking places to place event details.
- Include small details about the event wherever possible.
- Make sure to link to your website for full details, driving instructions, etc.
- Set up alarms that count-down to the event date.
- Send event secrets as alarms. Secrets can include who is going to be there, what to wear, food that is going to be served, etc. Get them excited!
- Make sure to alarm with relevant details such as your booth number, exact address, etc.
- Build up to the grand finale the event itself. Have an elaborate alarm pop up the morning of the event, or the night before to give extra time to prepare.
At the event itself
- If you already distributed PromoClocks before the event, hang up a big picture of the PromoClock model at the event itself. This will remind people how excited they are to be here. It will also get people to talk amongst themselves about you and your event.

- Whether or not you gave out PromoClocks before, give out PromoClock CDs or diskettes at the event itself (if not possible, just give a card with URL of how to download). If possible purchase another PromoClock model, if you already distributed PromoClocks before. Users who already have PromoClocks will be excited to download the new PromoClock model to see the new fun animations. If you made your alarms useful and entertaining, they will also be excited to see your new alarms.

- The PromoClocks you sent out before the event are not obsolete. You can continue to send out alarms with the old clock, but the campaign will be more successful if you give them a new clock.
- For people who were not able to show up to the event, have an alarm the day after the event that tells people how to download the new PromoClock.
- Use the PromoClock to collect peoples contact information. (Just give me your email address and get this free gift).
- For non-profit organizations, offer the clock in exchange for a small donation.
- If you are at a trade show booth, get new people to come to your booth by promoting your free PromoClock gift. Tell everyone who come to get the PromoClock to tell his or her friends to come too. Consider giving out stickers for people that say I got my free clock at booth #____. As people to stick them on their shirts or bags in exchange for the free clock. This will bring you added exposure.
What to include in the PromoClock distributed at the event.
People will take this PromoClock diskette or CD with them after the event and download it right when they get home. Have thank you for coming messages. If you promoted a product or service at the event, continue to promote it on your PromoClock. Repeat what happened at the event itself and let them know how happy you were that they came.
Note: You can send people who did not show up to the event the same clock customized differently. Use the words Sorry you couldnt make it instead of thank you for coming.
After the event event memento.
After the event, you will want to give people something to remember the event and yourself by.
We suggest you give out a third PromoClock model filled to be used as the event memento. Users who already used the first 2 clocks will be very excited to download the third one for the new cute animations. Make sure to tell people that this clock is filled with event mementos and they are sure to download.
What to include in the PromoClock distributed after the event.
Collect memorable information from the event and include them in the clock model.
Include
- Pictures from the event.
- Event highlights.
- Funny things that happened at the event (if applicable).
- Quotes said at the event.
- Event trivia ask questions in alert messages relating to the event. To see the answer, user must click on the website.
 By using techniques above and adding in your own special ideas, you are sure to get people to come to the event and create a lasting impression.
